Is this a private trip or a shared cruise?
This is a private boat trip for your own group of 1 to 8 passengers. We do not combine separate groups on the same departure. The one-hour itinerary is a relaxed way to see Porto and Gaia together from the water.
Where does the boat tour start and finish?
Board at Cais do Ouro, Rua do Ouro 160, Porto. We travel along the River Douro towards Dom Luís I Bridge and return to the same quay. This departure point is different from the Port of Leixões used for our three-hour river and sea trip.
Does this tour go to the Douro Valley or the sea?
This one-hour tour stays on the River Douro in Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. It does not visit the vineyards around Régua or Pinhão. For time on the Atlantic as well as the river, choose our three-hour River and Sea experience from Leixões.
How do I choose a date and time?
Use our booking calendar to choose the river tour, date and number of guests, then check the available departure times and total price. Trips can be requested every day. Your departure remains subject to our confirmation by email and WhatsApp, taking weather and operating conditions into account.
What happens if the weather changes?
Safety comes first. Wind, rain, wave height and other circumstances beyond our control may affect a trip, even after a date has been selected. If we cancel a paid departure because conditions are unsuitable, you can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.
