What is included in the boat tour?

How long does the River Douro tour last?

The River Douro Tour from Cais do Ouro lasts 1 hour, following the route Cais do Ouro → Dom Luís I Bridge → Cais do Ouro.

The River Douro & Sea Tour from the Port of Leixões lasts 3 hours, travelling to Dom Luís I Bridge and returning to Leixões.

Both tours are private, for up to 8 passengers. Trips can be requested every day, with departure time agreed on confirmation. All departures are subject to confirmation and suitable weather and sea conditions.

Where is the meeting point?

1-hour River Douro Tour: Cais do Ouro, Rua do Ouro 160, 4150-685 Porto.

3-hour River Douro & Sea Tour: Port of Leixões. We will send you the exact boarding point when confirming your trip.

What should I bring and wear for the boat trip?

Comfortable clothing, a light jacket or windbreaker, and don’t forget your sunglasses, the views are bright and the Porto sun likes to show off!

What happens if the tour is cancelled due to weather?

All trips are subject to confirmation. Departure depends on weather and, where applicable, sea conditions, including wave height, wind, rain and other circumstances beyond our control. We will confirm whether the trip can go ahead before departure. Sending a booking request does not guarantee departure.
